Conceptualisation process
The programme started in November 2006 with a one year conceptualisation phase led by an interdisciplinary working group. A state of the art of urban-environmental research has been conducted, the aim of which was to identify insufficiently addressed research questions and objects. The result of this work has been published in the book “Ecologies urbaines” (currently under English translation). Special attention has been paid to the chosen approaches for the programming of urban-environmental research in different countries and at the European level (check our resource page here). The conceptualisation seminar held on October 22 and 23, 2007 in Paris concluded this phase introducing key programme orientations to the scientific community, as well as to the stakeholders and actors involved.
